Had second thoughts during the process of finding a new car, but my experience at Toyota Sunnyvale went well. I tend to have second thoughts, but JJ Shehadeh was very helpful and flexible when it came to customer service, showing us different cars, and giving us time to make decisions. I purchased the Toyota Corolla which meets my needs where I am satisfied with my time.

Lorenzo Betancourt was super helpful during the last whole month of back and forth communication and waiting for a Corolla Hatchback FX I had my eyes on! This is my first new car purchase and he made sure to explain everything and guide me through the process. He was super helpful throughout the whole transaction and made sure I was the first one to see the car when it arrived. The paperwork and signing off process was super quick and smooth; even when we had a few hiccups, Lorenzo was super patient! I had a great experience at Toyota Sunnyvale! My sales associate, Nathan Lee, was very easy to work with. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I met him for the first time when I came in for a test drive. I was undecided at first about what kind of car I wanted. Without any pressure, he simply explained the different models and trims and took me to test drive them. By then I knew which car I wanted. I decided to purchase with Toyota Sunnyvale because the prices were relatively reasonable when compared to other dealerships. When I came back in to make the purchase, the process was very simple and hassle free. My only one criticism was that processing all the paperwork took little longer than expected. It took about 3.5 hours. Nonetheless, that was not a huge deal, and overall I was very happy with the experience! Simple, straightforward, no aggressive sales tactics, and easy-to-work-with staff. So far, I have been loving my new 2026 Toyota Camry SE! And I recommend Nathan Lee as your car salesman!

I am the absolute opposite of a techy. Yesterday the screen in my Corolla Cross hybrid decided to change its entire appearance and functionality. Without an appointment, I parked in the lot and approached the entrance to the sales dept. Four young people were standing there and one of them asked if she could help. I replied "Yes, I need some tech help". The other three disappeared and Jasmine asked some questions and said she wasn't sure if she could help, but would give it a try. I have no idea what she did or how she did it, but everything is now back to normal. That "will help" attitude is to be commended. It is part of the reason that I've been going there for over 21 years. On the flip side of the coin, for the first time in those 21 years, today (8/11/26), I had a very snippy and rude response from one of the service managers on a different matter. She must have been having a bad day, but she needs to learn how to treat customers even if she is down.

Good service, kind people, no hard-sell or upselling tactics: refreshing changes compared to many other car dealerships, particularly ones which, like this one, also sell used vehicles. I ended up buying a latest version Prius with somewhat fancier configuration than I originally thought of, in good part exactly because I felt no pressure at all to sway me towards it!
