Toyota Brings Camry Owners Together with the 'Camry Effect'

Did you know there are currently over seven million Toyota Camry owners in the United Sates? For 30 years, the Camry has been an integral part of many special memories in this country. Because of this, Toyota has decided to launch "The Camry Effect"- an interactive platform for owners to share memories, milestones, and moments with involving their vehicles. As Kimberley Gardiner, National Digital Marketing and Social Manager for Toyota, explains, "There are millions of Camry owners out there, but each has a unique and important story to tell. The site personalizes the experience of driving a Camry in a fun, engaging way."1

Toyota is taking a full frontal attack on car accidents. Among the many advanced safety features Toyota is currently developing are: a pop-up hood designed to significantly reduce the impact when a car hits a pedestrian; light-blocking technology aimed at shielding drivers from the blindingly bright high beam lights of oncoming traffic; and a heart-attack-sensing steering wheel. The feature we want to discuss today, however, is one which Toyota recently demonstrated at a media event…

Prius and performance...two words you would previously never see or likely say in the same sentence...except maybe to complain of a lack there of...are now becoming more compatible.

Don't get us wrong, we love the Toyota Prius and are big advocates of its signature style, fuel economy, low emissions, smooth ride and extremely comfortable interior. These are, after all, some of the many reasons it's the best-selling hybrid in the…
